Spirit of Science is actively committed to promoting citizen science, supporting a network of marine protected areas in the heart of the Mediterranean.
Our primary goal is to serve as a platform for support and hospitality for national and international scientific research projects dedicated to the protection and in-depth study of the Mediterranean Sea and its species.
Open to individuals of all ages, our association welcomes sea enthusiasts eager to sail aboard sailing boats, offering them the opportunity to actively participate in scientific processes without compromising the pleasure, excitement, and joy of exploring the sea.
We firmly believe that direct experience at sea can transform participants into true protagonists of the scientific research process, making the journey not only an exciting adventure but also a concrete contribution to the conservation of the Mediterranean.
We focus on the active involvement of individuals, encouraging a synergy between a passion for the sea, enjoyment, and scientific discovery.
By supporting citizen science, every journey becomes a tangible contribution to the research and preservation of our beloved sea.
